Abide Student Ministry, the ministry to Jr. High and High Schoolers at La Crescenta Presbyterian Church, is passionate about helping students navigate the difficulties and incredible joys that come with following Jesus and living life in 2020. We believe that every student is deeply loved by Jesus and has a place in His heart, regardless of race, background, orientation or status. Every student who walks through our doors is loved, accepted, and wanted. Mo matter who you are, you have a place at abide- a place to be here, be real and be bold.

Josh Jewell-Horton
Director of Student Ministry
Josh is from Redlands, CA and is the oldest of 5 brothers. He loves being outdoors and riding his bike throughout LA's sprawling coffee scene with his wife Kristin, who works at CFC and whom he met at one of his favorite places in the world, Mount Hermon. Josh is deeply passionate about being a consistent presence in the lives of teenagers and helping them to understand God's deep love for them.

Peyton Lindman Marshall
Student Ministry Summer Intern
Austin grew up in La Crescenta and at LCPC and just finished his degree at The Master’s University in Biblical Exposition. Austin loves being with close friends, backpacking, and admiring his Fantasy Football Championship Trophy (which he has won 3 straight years). Austin joyfully serves in student min. because he's determined to show students the grace and mercy that he experiences everyday from a good, loving God.
