Sundays of Sound opens its 2026-27 season on Sunday, October 25th 1pm at La Crescenta Presbyterian Church with Trio Lume. Violinist Viola You, cellist Raymond Newell, and pianist Wakana Hamada will perform two beloved pillars of the piano-trio repertoire: Beethoven’s Piano Trio in E-flat Major, Op. 1, No. 1 and Smetana’s Piano Trio in G Minor, Op. 15, taking listeners from Beethoven’s early classical poise to Smetana’s passionate, grief-laden Romanticism. Bringing together three accomplished Los Angeles chamber musicians, Trio Lume offers an afternoon of artistry and expressive music-making. Join us for the first Sundays of Sound concert of the season; admission is by donation.
