La Crescenta Presbyterian Church is seeking a passionate and relational Student Ministries Director to serve as a counselor, teacher, mentor, and faith-filled presence for junior high, senior high, and young adult students and their families. This role is central to LCPC’s mission of helping students grow in their love for Jesus Christ and equipping them for a life of discipleship.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan and lead student ministry programming, including:
Weekly Sunday morning education and fellowship
Midweek junior high and senior high gatherings
Student small groups and leader development
Summer and winter camps
Retreats, fellowship events, service projects, and mission trips
Development of a young adult ministry (ages 18–30)
Partner with the Pastor, Student Ministries Committee, and church leadership to develop and implement a compelling vision for a thriving student ministries program that reaches both church members and the surrounding community.
Recruit, train, support, and supervise lay leaders, interns, and an Assistant Director (as needed) to effectively carry out ministry goals.
Engage in outreach on local school campuses and in the broader community.
Support the broader life of the church through participation in worship, Vacation Bible School, and other congregational activities as needed.
Qualifications & Gifts
A growing, authentic Christian faith and a clear calling to student ministry
Strong relational, leadership and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to disciple students, equip volunteers, and collaborate with church staff
Experience in youth ministry or related church leadership preferred

The Center for Children is looking for dedicated people wanting to work in a church environment with children of all ages. Currently we are looking for
Infant Teacher - 12 units of Child Development and 3 units of Infant Toddler development 9:30 - 6:00
Toddler Teacher 12 units of Child Development and 3 units of Infant Toddler development 7:00 - 3:30 or 9:30 - 6:00
2 Year Old Teacher - 12 units of Child Development 9:30 - 6:00
School Age Teacher - Summer full time, School year afternoons, College units required but subjects can be varied.
Assistants/Aides in various classrooms 8-1 or 3-6, or combined for a split shift
Infants - School age Must be 18 and a high school graduate or equivalent. Hours may vary for school age.
Van Drivers to pick up from local public schools and drop off at CFC. Monday through Friday from 12:00 to 3:30.

The Children's Ministry at La Crescenta Presbyterian Church is looking for qualified child-care workers to staff the nursery on Sunday mornings during worship services and on Wednesday evenings during the church's Praise and Education for Adults and Kids program (PEAK).
