Welcome

All in for Jesus | Sent out to serve

Why Church?

Jesus’ Church is where our loving God and his broken people come together. It’s where forgiveness from God leads to healed relationships and authentic community. It’s where we celebrate and lean into the new life the Lord has for us.

Why LCPC?

We’re passionate about continuing the work that Jesus began. And we’d love for you to explore this site to find out how you might connect with us. Come and worship with us!

Seek and Find Your Place

That said, our main mission isn’t to enlarge the LCPC family. It’s to point people Jesus, who offers forgiveness and eternal life to everyone who trusts in him. So if LCPC doesn’t feel right for you, don’t stop exploring. Find a church family in your community where you can grow in the character of Jesus and continue his kingdom-building work.

What to Expect

Worship Services (Contemporary and Classic)

We offer two services, both at 10 am. Our Contemporary service is held in the main Sanctuary, which is surrounded with vivid stained glass windows, reminding us of the mighty works of God and the eternal promises of his Word. Worship is led by our praise band, The Blessed, and features upbeat Christian music, similar to what you might hear on a Christian radio station. Our Classic Worship Service is held in our beautifully renovated Chapel. It offers a contemplative, liturgical experience including the singing of great hymns of faith and the finest in both sacred choral and classical instrumental music. This service honors the traditions that have bound Christians together for centuries and have been practiced at LCPC for over 130 years. Whichever service you chose, both incorporate dynamic testimonies, interviews, and the same Bible-based message. A lively, Bible-based Sunday School is available during both worship services for children of all ages. Everyone’s invited to Fellowship Time (a.k.a. the Party in the Breezeway) featuring coffee and cookies after Sunday services.

At this time, face masks are optional, so those worshipping in person may decide if they or their children will wear a mask indoors.

Location & Parking

LCPC is located at 2902 Montrose Ave. in La Crescenta. The parking lot is just west of the church on Montrose Ave, and there's overflow and disabled parking on the street in front of the church.

What to Wear

Please dress however you feel comfortable! At LCPC you'll see people wearing everything from Hawaiian shirts and jeans to dresses and ties. God invites us to come as we are.

Kids & Students

Sunday mornings feature programming for every age group. Children and Students begin worship in the services before being dismissed about 10 minutes into the service. We also offer a soundproof room where children and parents can watch the service together.

For more info, see ministries.

Communion (The Lord's Supper)

The first Sunday of every month, we offer one combined service in our Sanctuary - there is no worship service in the Chapel - so the whole church family can celebrate communion together. All who seek Jesus' grace are welcome to participate by walking up the center aisle, receiving the elements from our servers, and returning to your seat via the side aisles.
