Come join the fun on Sat, Oct 10th, as we work on a new Altadena home in the early stages of construction! (Specific scope of work subject to change based on factors outside of Habitat's control, including weather and construction progress.)

 

If you've been holding Nov 14th on your calendar, it now appears that there will be very limited volunteer spots available to our church on that day, as "the other LCPC" is hosting a missions day for their Men's Fellowship group, and expects to fill at least 20 spots (they will be allowed to pre-register before general registration opens up). So if you want to guarantee yourself a spot on a build day this year, sign up now for Oct 10th! (We will release registration details for the Nov 14th build as we get more visibility to the volunteer needs for that day.)

 

Past volunteers: please note that we have changed up the format a bit for this next build, due in part to a big loss of work momentum when we bring in a whole new team of volunteers after lunch. So, instead of two shifts with 30 volunteers each, we are offering only one shift, from 7:45am to 3:00pm, with a maximum of 25 volunteers. A great (free!) lunch will be provided. (If you'd like to join but would need to arrive late or depart early, just let us know -- Habitat can accommodate this. It's also possible for us to create some half day spots if we are unable to fill all 25 full day spots.)
