Trunk or Treat and Pumpkin Party

Saturday, October 25, 3 - 5pm â€‹

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of trunk or treating and pumpkin decorating, hosted by Outreach and Children’s Ministry! This event is free, and everyone's invited — neighbors, friends, families and kids of all ages! The event will be in the LCPC parking lot — parking will be limited but additional parking is available on Montrose Ave. All are welcome to come in family-friendly costumes and bring a bag to collect goodies! No play weapons are allowed.

There's still time to get involved! Decorate your car, boat or motorcycle and be part of the trunk-or-treat fun! Or help us stock up with treats by donating through our Amazon Wishlist. There are volunteer opportunities for everyone — your helping hands make this event special!

We can't wait to see you there! Questions? Reach out to Jillian Matson at JillianLMatson@gmail.com.

Children and Family Ministry Food Drive and Packing Night

November 2 - 19

The Children's and Family Ministry is hosting its annual food drive for Children's Hunger Fund. Starting Sunday, November 2, through Wednesday, November 19, we will be collecting specific food items to provide substantive meal boxes as well as the gospel to children experiencing poverty throughout the U.S. Shopping lists can be found in the Narthex, the back table of the Chapel and by clicking the link below. Please only bring items from the list.

Everyone is invited to join our food packing night, as it's a collaborative, church-wide event. It will be held Wednesday, November 19, from 6:30 - 7:30pm in Koopmans Hall and will include PEAK class participants. Please email Dot at dot@lcpc.net with any questions!

Habitat for Humanity Build Day

Saturday, November 15, 7:45am - 3:30pm â€‹

Volunteers 16 and older are invited to fill half- and full-day shifts working with Habitat for Humanity to build a home in Altadena. No experience necessary and all volunteers will be invited to a lunch program on site.

We can have up to 50 volunteers working on-site at a time, split between a main house and an ADU. LCPC’s team will join forces with other churches, including La Canada Presbyterian.

Women of LCPC: This service opportunity is our November event, and our goal is to have at least 10 LCPC ladies on the build team. We can do it!

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Tuesdays, 11am - 12noon

Pastor Mouris' Morning Bible Study meets every Tuesday morning in Koopmans Hall. Beginning September 16, join us for "A Journey Through the Book of Acts!" The first Christians faced enormous challenges: false teaching, persecution, culture clashes, and political and racial strife. This Bible study will explore the experiences of the early church to gain helpful lessons for living as followers of Jesus in 21st century America.

PEAK is Praise and Education for Adults and Kids, our weekly time of fellowship and education! Join us for dinner every Wednesday starting at 5:30pm with programs for every member of the family from 6:15 - 7:15pm:

  • Children’s programs

  • Abide for middle and high schoolers

  • Classes for adults

NEW FALL CLASS! Beginning September 17th, the Rev. Dr. Mouris Yousef will lead "Building a Community in Christ." We long to belong. We crave fellowship.
