LADIES OF LCPC TEA PARTY
Saturday, February 21
​
The Ladies of LCPC are hosting their first event for 2026! Ladies of all ages are invited to join us for a Tea Party in Koopmans Hall Saturday, February 21, from 10am - Noon. Tea will be provided and attendees are invited to bring a savory snack or dessert to share.
We’re excited to have guest speaker Rev. Ruth Schmidt join us! Ruth is involved with Cyclical LA, a program that started in our presbytery and is now used nationwide. Cyclical helps new worshiping communities (NWC) grow in number and strength through mentoring, partnering with established churches, and providing other forms of leadership support. She will give us insight to how we view what it means to be a church and meeting people where they are.
Ash Wednesday Service
February 18th 7pm in the Sanctuary

Begin the Season of Lent with us at our Annual Ash Wednesday Worship Service. Together, we’ll reflect, pray, and prepare our hearts for the journey toward Easter. Rev. Dr. Mouris Yousef will share a message titled “Produce Fruit in Keeping with Repentance!” based on Matthew 3:1–12.

The imposition of ashes will be offered for all who wish to receive them. Everyone is welcome to this meaningful time of worship and renewal.
Annual Congregational Meeting
Sunday, March 1st​

All members and friends of La Crescenta Presbyterian Church are invited to our Annual Meeting of the Congregation. We’ll gather to celebrate God’s faithfulness over the past year and review ministry highlights.

Your participation helps shape the direction of our church’s mission and ministry. Please join us for this important time of reflection, gratitude, and planning together.
Recurring Events
PEAK
Wednesday nights, 6:15pm
​
PEAK, our weekly time of fellowship and education, is every Wednesday. A delicious meal will be available for $5 ($3 for kids under 12) at 5:30pm. We then have classes and gatherings for the whole family from 6:15-7:15pm. Children ages 3+ will have a fun and energetic time with Dot Kim and our Children's Ministry volunteers, while middle and high school students will meet down in the Student Center to spend time together in fellowship.
Membership Class
For those interested in joining LCPC or who want to explore this opportunity, Pastor Yousef is offering two in-person options:
February Sessions: Sunday, February 1st and Sunday, February 8th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
March Sessions: Sunday, March 8th and Sunday, March 22nd from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Those seeking or exploring membership are required to attend both sessions in either the February or March track. Two additional opportunities will be offered in the summer and fall. If you have any questions or to sign up, please reach out to Dr. Yousef at Mouris@lcpc.net
Tuesday Morning Bible Study
Tuesdays, 11am - 12pm​

Pastor Mouris' Bible Study meets every Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in Koopmans Hall. He will be continuing his study, “A Journey Through the Book of Acts!” reflecting on the story of the early Church. He'll study people and real-life situations, drawing helpful lessons for our daily living as followers of Jesus in 21st-century America.
Monthly Game Nights
​​Third Thursday each month, 6-8pm​
​
Join us for fellowship nights featuring games for adults and high schoolers, on the third Thursday of the month from 6-8pm in Koopmans Hall. It's a great time to form friendships while having fun together! Instructions will be given for a variety of games, some simple and some with more strategy. All are welcome and encouraged to bring their own beverages and snacks, if desired.
Sunday Potlucks
Once a Month After Sunday Services​

LCPC family, join us for a time of fellowship and nourishment at our monthly potlucks in Koopmans Hall! Bring a dish to share or simply come to break bread with friends old and new!
​
No sign-up is needed – just bring a dish to share and enjoy a great lunch, meeting new people or visiting with friends. Coffee and cookies will also be available, so even if you can’t stay for the potluck, stop by for coffee and a snack!​

Potluck Schedule: February 15, March 15, April 19, May 17, June 14, July 19, August 16, September 20, and October 18. There are no potlucks in November and December.
