Join us for Worship

This month we’ll continue (and finish) our “Rebuilding” sermon
series on Nehemiah. We’ll discover how God used ordinary people to
rebuild the city of Jerusalem and renew the people of God. We’ll find out
what it means to live generously, overcome obstacles, live with the Scriptures, and finally to commit ourselves to God’s purposes. Lent is almost
upon us. We’ll close out the month of February with Ash Wednesday.
There are so many wonderful things happening this month, we hope
you’ll join God’s family each week so that we may be “built together
into a dwelling place where God lives by His Spirit” (Ephesians 2:22)

NEW SONG WORSHIP (CONTEMPORARY), SUNDAYS AT 9:00 AM

Our 9:00 a.m. service is led by our Praise Band. Each week the band might be different, but usually we have guitars, drums, keyboards, bass guitar and singers. We strive to provide an opportunity to experience God's deep love in a way that connects with everyday life. Our music often sounds similar to the music you'd hear on the radio, but the message is profoundly different. Our band seeks to lead in worship not perform. So each week we invite you to be "in the band" by singing, clapping along, or even dancing.

SERVICE OF PRAISE (CLASSIC), SUNDAYS AT 11:00 AM

Our traditional service in the main Sanctuary features our Cathedral Choir along with organ, piano, hymns, praise songs, and special music. Periodically there will be performances given by the 5:19 Praise Band, Cathedral Bells, Children’s Choir, and special music performed by members of our congregation. Our 11 a.m. Traditional Service honors the traditions that have bound Christians together for centuries and have been practiced at LCPC for over 130 years. Come hear The Lord's Prayer, the Apostles' Creed, and great hymns of the faith led by our wonderful Cathedral Choir and the 5:19 Praise Team, fill the Sanctuary. The voices of the choirs and the sound of the organ create rich harmonies and textures that transport worshipers into His majestic presence.

During the service

We offer nursery and toddler care during both services. If you prefer to stay with your young ones on Sundays, the Parent/Child room is available in the balcony of the Sanctuary.

Sunday school is offered during both services for 3 years old - 6th grade. Our youth program, Abide Student Ministries, has a Sunday morning teen service during the 9:00 am service down in our Student Center. Children and youth start out in the Sanctuary, and then are dismissed during the service to go to their classes.

There are personal listening devices (hearing enhancement) available.  Please feel free to request one from a friendly helpful usher.
