Save the dates! High school youth and adults (especially medical professionals!) are invited to participate
June 16-25, 2018. This trip is an outreach to Haitian immigrants living in the Dominican Republic. This year’s
construction team will be repairing and improving the homes of several families living in poverty in the barrio
of KM 6. The medical team will be doing remedial healthcare in sugar cane plantation villages and a prison.
Cost is $1,230. Deadline for a $300 deposit and registration is January 29. Brochures and registration forms are

Bistro 50+ is the hottest lunch spot in town. Everyone is welcome, especially those above the age of 50. Join us on Tuesday, June 27 at noon in Koopmans Hall for bbq cups, watermelon and feta salad, baked
beans, popsicles and beverage. Cost is only $5 and reservations are not required.
There are many ways we can respond to God’s Word. One avenue that’s often neglected is the visual arts. During the summer this fun group will create art pieces that are inspired by the Bible. At each
class Michelle introduces a different art theme with examples, then participants create their own art in a
Bible journal. Art supplies are provided. Anyone age 16 or older is welcome. Meet in Koopmans Hall.
The LCPC Men are teaming up to host Evensong on Sunday, June 24. It all takes place in the LCPC courtyard. Our
time of prayer, special music and singing will be from7:00 – 7:50 p.m., and everyone is invited to stay after for pie,
coffee and fellowship. All are invited; there’s no charge and no need to sign up. Bring your friends!

All children ages 4 through incoming 6th grade are invited to join us for daily crafts, games, snacks, and Bible
skits. Our VBS theme this year is Shipwrecked–Rescued by Jesus! and it is sure to be an exciting week of learning
about God’s gifts to us! Cost is $35 and registration forms will be available in the church office starting on April 2.
